‘To-Do List’ Exclusive Clip Explains Why Men Should Drink Pineapple Juice

Pretty much everyone who’s ever been to high school has heard the claim that pineapple juices allegedly make a, uh, certain male quality taste better, but few have taken matters into their own hands as efficiently as Aubrey Plaza in her new movie “The To-Do List.” In an exclusive MTV Sneak Peek Week clip, her character, Brandy Clark, reads in a magazine about the magic property of pineapple juice. That revelation leads the men she knows to guzzle the stuff to hilarious results.

It seems as though not every guy in the film understands why they’re drinking pineapple juice, as Kevin Brennan‘s character tells Andy Samberg‘s that Brandy insisted on the drink because she is Mormon. We don’t know if they’d be more or less intrigued if they knew the real reason.

In case you couldn’t tell by the above clip, “The To-Do List” has an all-star cast. In addition to Plaza, Samberg, Bill Hader, Scott Porter and Donald Glover, the movie also stars Clark Gregg, Connie Britton, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Rachel Bilson, Alia Shawkat and Johnny Simmons. It’s due in theaters on April 16.

Will Jennifer Lawrence get her silver lining in the form of a Golden Popcorn? Which beefcake will sizzle in our brand-new Best Shirtless Performance category? It’s up to you to decide the winners of the 2013 MTV Movie Awards! Vote now, and tune in Sunday, April 14, at 9 p.m. ET, as star Rebel Wilson takes the stage at the Sony Pictures Studios lot in Culver City, California.

‘Grown Ups 2′ Trailer: Get Chocolate Wasted All Over Again

Grown Ups 2 Trailer: Get Chocolate Wasted All Over Again

The first trailer for “Grown Ups 2,” a sequel to the “Expendables” of 90s comedy stars, debuted online today and wastes no time reminding us of the one scene that played in every commercial for the original.

Once everyone has been reminded of the “chocolate wasted” joke from “Grown Ups,” we get to move on to the latest round of slapstick gags, including a deer (yes, a deer) peeing (yes, peeing) on Adam Sandler (you get it).

We will give credit where credit is due however. Some guys from “Saturday Night Live,” including Andy Samberg, Taran Killam, and Jorma Taccone, show up as a male cheerleading squad and do their best to freak out Kevin James.

Check out the first full trailer for “Grown Ups 2″ after the jump!

Grown Ups 2″ opens on July 12.

Kendrick Lamar And The Lonely Island Spoof ‘YOLO’ On ‘Saturday Night Live’

By Henna Kathiya

Looks like NBC heard Kendrick Lamar’s plea to appear in a “Saturday Night Live” skit. It was the Compton MC’s first time performing (“Swimming Pools” and “Poetic Justice“) for SNL with Maroon 5 front man Adam Levine hosting, but he also got to put his acting chops on display, in a digital short with Adam Levine and the Lonely Island called “YOLO.”

Kendrick’s wish came true, as he landed a feature on the Lonely Island‘s new track. “Yeah, I’ll do a skit. We clown around in the studio all day; I can do it on TV in front of the camera,” Kendrick told MTV News last week. “Put me in one of those skits ‘SNL‘! Wassup?”

The video is hilarious, making fun of Drake’s highly popularized YOLO motto. The song sets up scenes where “you only live one” is applicable. Andy Samberg, Lonely Island and SNL veteran opens up the song with a definition of what exactly YOLO is. “ The battle cry of a generation. This life is a precious gift, so don’t get too crazy, it’s not worth the risk,” he says at the start of the song.

Instead of living life to the fullest like YOLO usually suggests, this song warns the public that you really only do live once and therefore caution must be taken. “Never go to saunas cause they’re crawling with piranhas/ Never take the stairs cause they’re often unsafe/ You only live once so don’t let it go to waste,” the song preaches.

Kendrick Lamar makes his appearance in the song to offer up this advice, “Take no chances, stop freelancin’, invest in your future don’t dilute your finances/401K make sure it’s low risk and then get some real estate,” he raps. He even dresses up as an older version of himself. Although he pokes fun at Drake’s characteristic motto, Drizzy is one of the many artists featured on his good kid m.A.A.d city album. K-Dot put on his serious face at the end of the night and performed “Swimming Pools” and “Poetic Justice” as SNL’s musical guest

‘Cloudy With A Chance’ Sequel Reveals Terrifying Food Critters

0128d Cloudy With A Chance 2 Cloudy With A Chance Sequel Reveals Terrifying Food Critters

By Hannah Soo Park

Don’t let the name fool you, because meatballs are no longer in the forecast. In fact, the latest FLDSMDFR creation could actually be the stuff food nightmares are made of.

USA Today revealed an exclusive image from “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2,” giving us a first look at the possibly edible critters that have taken over Swallow Falls. Think: tacodiles, fruit cockatiels, cucumbirds, bananaostriches and yes, even double bacon cheespiders. Yum?

The sequel picks up where “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs” left off, with inventor Flint Lockwood (Bill Hader) learning that his infamous machine (the one that once turned water into threatening amounts of food) is still functioning—but is now churning out bizarre “food-animal hybrids.”

“It’s created these living food creatures that have basically taken over Flint’s home, the island where he lives,” Hader told USA Today. “That island is kind of like Jurassic Park.”

Anna Faris will be reprising her role as Sam Sparks, Lockwood’s now official girlfriend who will reportedly butt heads with a “lipstick-wearing, highly evolved” chimp character voiced by Kristen Schaal (“The Daily Show”). “She’s kind of a snarky, know-it-all chimpanzee, and aggressive. Sam and Barb sort of go at it a little bit,” Schall said of her character.

Neil Patrick Harris, Andy Samberg, James Caan and Will Forte also lend their voices to the film, which will open in 3D and 2D theaters on September 27.

Did Justin Timberlake Invite ‘NSYNC To His Wedding?

We’re going to assume that when a curly topped Justin Timberlake sang the words “This I Promise You” as ‘NSYNC‘s frontman, he wasn’t talking about his fellow bandmates’ invitations to his future wedding.

We already know that Roots drummer ?uestlove, who DJ‘d the reception, did not spin any tunes by the ’90s boy band and stuck with solo Justin Timberlake hits instead. And now TMZ is reporting that three out of the five members of ‘NSYNC were not in attendance at Timberlake’s wedding to Jessica Biel in Southern Italy on Friday — and they may not have even been invited in the first place.

JC Chasez was attending his brother’s wedding in Orlando, Joey Fatone was in Los Angeles, and Lance Bass had an engagement in San Diego. While we know that Chris Kirkpatrick was in Italy during the time of the wedding, we do not have confirmation that he was supporting his former bandmate at the event.

Other details of the hush-hush wedding weekend are slowly trickling out, and Us Weekly is reporting that the bride added some color to the traditional wedding white when she walked down the aisle in a pink-and-white Giambattista Valli wedding dress with a “princess-like silhouette,” according to stylist Bobbie Thomas. Before serenading his wife with a new song, Timberlake tied the knot in a sleek Tom Ford suit, and his groomsmen sported Tom Ford as well.

Timberlake and Biel tied the knot in front of 150 guests at Puglia, Italy‘s posh Borgo Egnazia resort. While ‘NSYNC might not have been on the guest list, attendees included “Saturday Night Live” alum Andy Samberg and Biel’s “7th Heaven” co-star Beverley Mitchell.

Justin Timberlake Finally Debuts New Music … At His Wedding

Leave it to Justin Timberlake to kick up the romance at his Southern Italy wedding Friday, wooing his new bride with a memorable serenade.

The Puglia wedding reception was DJed by none other than the ubiquitous Roots drummer, ?uestlove, who, according to Us Weekly, spun Justin Timberlake records, but not a single *NSYNC track. However, Timberlake more than made up for the lack of “Bye Bye Bye” with his own special performance of a yet-to-be-released song dedicated to his blushing bride, Jessica Biel.

Check out a timeline of Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel’s love!

“It was magical,” Timberlake revealed to People. “It was an unforgettable evening.” Biel, echoing her husband’s sentiments, gushed, “It was a fantasy.”

The longtime couple, first spotted together in January 2007, was surrounded by an intimate gathering of family and friends for the big wedding weekend, including Timberlake’s frequent comedic collaborator, Andy Samberg, Jimmy Fallon and Biel’s “7th Heaven” co-star, Beverley Mitchell.

“It’s great to be married. The ceremony was beautiful, and it was so special to be surrounded by our family and friends,” the couple had told People of the nuptials, which took place at Puglia’s luxurious Borgo Egnazia seaside resort.

While details of the top-secret affair are slowly unraveling, we will continue hunting YouTube for any sort of evidence of the serenade and wondering if Timberlake’s legendary dance moves were at all included. Surely famous tweeter ?uestlove must’ve recorded it, right?

Do you think we’ll hear Justin’s love song, or should Jessica keep it for herself? Let us know what you think in the comments!

Justin Timberlake And Jessica Biel Wedding: A Timeline

Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Timberlake! As their most devoted fans know by now, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel finally tied the knot on Friday (October 19) in an intimate ceremony in Southern Italy, and we couldn’t be happier for the power couple.

The couple confirmed the news in a statement to People magazine, sharing their happy news with the world: “It’s great to be married, the ceremony was beautiful and it was so special to be surrounded by our family and friends.”

In celebration of their wedded bliss, let’s take a swoony-eyed look back at the story of their romance:

January 2007
Timberlake and Biel are first spotted hanging out together and make their relationship public at the Sundance Film Festival, beginning nearly five years of gossip-column coverage.

October 2008
In the midst of countless paparazzi photos, the couple used their celebrity status to do some good, like when they appeared at a rally for then-presidential candidate Barack Obama. “Me and Jess, we’re here as Americans,” Timberlake said at the rally. “We’re here as humans, because this is something we had to do.”

Take a look at the happy couple over the years!

With all the photographic evidence of their relationship, rumors began to swirl about the couple’s plans to walk down the aisle, which Timberlake addressed later that year. “Am I engaged? In what?” Timberlake asked Jay Leno during an appearance on “The Tonight Show.” “I’m engaged in a conversation with you.” He then added, “I’m not pregnant.”

May 2009
Timberlake showed off his comedic chops once again in an episode of “Saturday Night Live,” which included a sequel to “D— in a Box” called “Motherlover.” “I thought it was amazing,” Biel later told MTV News of her beau’s performance. “I mean, it was so wrong, it’s right. Just so wrong, it had to be right.”

January 2010
In the midst of a storm of breakup rumors, Biel defended her right for privacy in an interview with Vogue. “I don’t want to talk about it. I don’t feel the need to clear anything up,” she said. “It’s the most precious thing that I have in my life, and I care about it so much that I don’t care about what anyone says or thinks. I have just not addressed it in any real way, and I’m not going to. It’s mine. And I really like that about it.”

June 2010
A sunnier-sounding Biel told Glamour that the key to their relationship is balance and being able to make time for and understand one another’s busy careers. “I guess I would say my thing is just as wonderful,” Biel said. “And that’s the only way — when you each have your own world and it’s just as great.”

March 2011
The couple announce that they’re splitting up, saying they still hold the “highest level of love and respect for each other.”

Fall 2011
Timberlake opened up a bit about his feelings for Biel to Vanity Fair. “She is the single-handedly most significant person in my life. In my 30 years, she is the most special person, OK?” he said. “I don’t want to say much more, because I have to protect things that are dear to me — for instance, her.” And shortly thereafter, the two got back together.

December 2012
The couple are engaged on or around Christmas Day in Jackson, Wyoming, but don’t officially announce the news for weeks.

January 2012
Timberlake’s grandmother spills the beans about the couple’s engagement: “He called me on Christmas Day and told me he’s engaged.” She added that her superstar grandson gave her strict orders to keep quiet “until after the holidays.”

April 2012
A few details are leaked about their pending nuptials, with reports claiming that the couple were planning a big summer wedding.

September 2012
Timberlake has his last hurrah as a “single man” with a bachelor party weekend in Las Vegas with about 20 of his best guy friends.

October 2012
Timberlake and Biel officially tie the knot on October 19, in front of family and friends, including “Saturday Night Live” star Andy Samberg, music manager Johnny Wright and Biel’s former “7th Heaven” co-star Beverley Mitchell. While exact details on their wedding remain a mystery, the wedding party had been spotted in Southern Italy in the days leading up to the nuptials.

‘Hotel Transylvania’ Brings Box Office Back From The Dead

Leave it to a vampire to bring the box office back from the dead.

“Hotel Transylvania” enjoyed the biggest September opening ever with its $43 million debut. The box office was up 21 percent overall versus the same period last year, bucking the downward trend of the last few weeks with gusto. The cartoon comedy beat industry expectations and enjoyed the most successful opening ever for Sony Pictures Animation.

Sony nabbed the #2 spot over the weekend as well, with the sci-fi/action flick “Looper” debuting to the tune of $21.2 million. The weekend’s other new wide release, “Won’t Back Down,” had to settle for just $2.7 million. In limited release, “Pitch Perfect” took in $5.2 million in just 355 locations. By comparison, “Hotel Transylvania” was in 3,349 theaters.

Hotel Transylvania” took the September opening record from the Reese Witherspoon comedy “Sweet Home Alabama,” which opened with $25.6 million 10 years ago without the benefit of pricier 3-D tickets. Featuring the voice talents of Adam Sandler and Andy Samberg, “Hotel” easily beat the $13.4 million opening of the R-Rated Sandler/Samberg team-up “That’s My Boy” from earlier this year. It was the biggest Sandler opening ever aside from 2005′s “The Longest Yard.”

“Looper” reunited Joseph Gordon-Levitt with filmmaker Rian Johnson. The pair collaborated on the indie critical darling “Brick” in 2005. “Looper” has enjoyed positive reviews as well, in addition to a much larger $30 million budget. Featuring Bruce Willis as a time-traveling future version of Gordon-Levitt’s character, “Looper” performed better than Gordon-Levitt’s “Premium Rush” (which flopped in August) and Willis’ last sci-fi flick, 2009′s “Surrogates.”

Although Jake Gyllenhaal ruled the box office two weeks ago thanks to “End of Watch,” his sister Maggie wasn’t so lucky over the weekend. Her education drama “Won’t Back Down” was a commercial disappointment and failed to connect with critics. “The film upholds a dreary tradition of simplifying and sentimentalizing matters of serious social concern and dumbing down issues that call for clarity and creative thinking,” the New York Times’ A.O. Scott wrote.

The previous weekend’s #1 film, “End of Watch,” was #3 with another $8 million for a $26.2 million domestic total.

“Trouble With the Curve” was just behind with $7.5 million for a two-week $23.7 million total. Low-budget horror flick “House at the End of the Street,” starring Jennifer Lawrence, rounded out the top five with $7.1 million for a $22.2 million total.

Check out everything we’ve got on “Hotel Transylvania.”
