Remember when we showed you these Giuseppe Zanotti heels inspired by the cover art of G.O.O.D. Music’s album Cruel Summer? Perhaps you were wondering who might wear these bad boys in daily life, with their all-white, flashy feather plumes. The answer, of course: Kim Kardashian, and we’re sure that her baby daddy Kanye West hooked her up. (He probably had a few spare pairs lying around, right?)
Clad in her exclusive shoes and a skintight dress, the very pregnant Kim stepped out with West in NYC on Monday (April 22), Us Weekly reported. Perez Hilton even got a photo of the two together, with Yeezy trailing behind his newly divorced beau as they shopped in Soho.
So now that she’s a free woman, would the reality star re-marry? In a recent interview with Ryan Seacrest, Kim said that she “would get married again” when Ryan brought up getting hitched to ‘Ye. “I found out what I really wanted,” she added.
We have to say that while there’s no ring on her finger (yet), the Cruel Summer shoes do show her dedication to the father-to-be, at least in a fashion sense. And in the world of ladies who are committed to their rapper beaus, donning a pair of heels is definitely less drastic than, say, getting a large portrait of your man tattooed on your arm (we’re looking at you, Amber Rose).

Azealia Banks has gotten herself all worked up again, and this time it’s because A$AP Rocky said that dark skinned girls shouldn’t wear red lipstick (and no one should wear purple in general). Banks, whose signature look involves a purple lip, took to Twitter (in her usual style) to voice how she was personally offended by A$AP’s beauty advice.
In a recent interview with The Coveteur, Rocky offered up skincare tips as well his opinion on girls’ make-up. While The Coveteur has since edited his comments, The Huffington Post reported what he said:
“But for real, for me, I feel like with the red lipstick thing it all depends on the pair of complexion. I’m just being for real. You have to be fair skinned to get away with that. Just like if you were to wear like—f—ing for instance, what do dark skin girls have that you know fair skinned girls cant do… Purple lipstick? Naw, that looks stupid on all girls! Purple lipstick, guys! Like, what the f—…”
Sounds like Rocky wouldn’t recommend the M.A.C. lipstick Banks released last year, which is a shade of deep plum.
To speak up for bold lip-wearing women everywhere, Banks took shots at her fellow Harlem-raised rapper and tweeted, “Lol @ asap rockys lipstick advice.” Minutes later, she added, “Some people should just come out of the closet.”
Banks took some heat for implying that Rocky is gay (the rapper claims he’s heterosexual but has publicly supported the gay community) and defended herself by tweeting later in the day, “So rocky takes a direct blow to my image about dark skin and purple lipstick, then as soon as I’m a offended …. I’m the bad guy.”
But this is not the first time a tweet landed Banks in the “bad guy” position. Her shot at A$AP recalled her feud with celebrity blogger Perez Hilton earlier this year, where she used the word “f—-t.”
Veering away from further controversial comments (at least ones involving people’s sexual orientation), Banks made sure to play the victim. “That comment was so hurtful. Like hurtful beyond measure. Coming from him especially……,” she tweeted. “It made me cry. It did.”
Apparently not all of Rocky’s make-up advice is offensive or tear-inducing. He told The Coveteur that red lipstick is “fine” although there is a down side. “I’m going to be real, though,” he said. “It’s bad for making out, because it gets on the guys.”

It was just a few months back that E! reality star, Rob Kardashian, went on a twitter rant about the relationship gone awry between himself and UK singer Rita Ora. He unleashed some harsh words on the social media site, accusing the singer of cheating on him with over 20 dudes. Although Ora was mum at the time, the Roc Nation artist recently decided to share her side of the story. According to Perez Hilton, she denies the two ever seriously dated.
“I never actually thought it was a relationship in all honesty. I never mentally defined it as boyfriend/girlfriend,” she said. “When I split up with him I said ‘It’s because I’m never there, I don’t know how to do it.’ That’s all I said… then the rest happened.”
But she didn’t stop there. Ora threw a little shade at how the reality star handled the ‘so-called’ situation. “When you are involved with someone for a while and they decide to express their feelings to the public, well, that’s not my personal way of therapy but I guess everyone takes split-ups differently… You should have to sit an exam before you go on Twitter. To see if you’re mentally stable.”
I guess all is fair in love and war…or not according to these two.
Chris Brown and Rihanna might’ve patched things up and moved on (together), but the fascination with their infamous 2009 assault incident hasn’t vanished. Last night, a new episode of “Law & Order: SVU” debuted, more or less mimicking the real life events.
The episode follows a fictional singer, Micha Green, who is physically assaulted by her hip-hop performer boyfriend Caleb. She refuses to press charges and stays with him despite his volatile temper and history of abuse. Finally, Micha is found dead and authorities believe that Caleb was the cause. The episode featured real-life media personalities like Wendy Williams and Perez Hilton and even made reference to Chrianna when Detective Munch says of the couple, “They should double date with Chris Brown and Rihanna.”
Actress Tiffany Robinson who plays Rihanna in the episode told MTV News that she took it all very seriously. “They really pushed it so that we can really look at the seriousness of it,” Robinson said. “I felt like they drove it home even more. They kept it real, and they went there, regardless of what controversy it would bring. It was about telling the truth. Originally when I saw it, they hadn’t ended it that way. This is what happens [in abusive relationships] when we look at the numbers. This is usually where it ends up.”

Chris Brown is showing off his mic skills once again. The singer debuted a new rap song at Diddy’s party in Los Angeles a few nights ago. In the clip from Skee TV Breezy spits tough about money and “bad bitches.” Breezy’s now on-again boo Rihanna can be seen standing by his side during parts of the song in a baseball cap and black shirt.
Off wax, Chris and Rihanna have been making headlines this week after an episode of Law & Order Special Victims Unit inspired by their romance aired last night.
Despite the negative attention, Chris seems to be embracing positivity. He was recently spotted at Elton John’s Oscar viewing party where he was all smiles. “I’ve made mistakes and I made, you know, the biggest mistake of all of them on a night,” Brown said. “Things got out of hand. I was a kid and I didn’t understand things going on in my head. I’ve grown a lot since then and I know things now I didn’t get then. I know some people still talk about it but I’m the one who learned the lesson and I know I’m a different person now.”

Tisk tisk, Azealia Banks is at it again. We all know by now that the Harlem MC with the hard shell is not one to back down from a fight. And now, her current tiff involves stepping on toes and challenging social stigmas.
After she postponed the release of her “Yung Rapunxel” record (which was set to drop on Tuesday, February 12), Banks decided to give her fans something new to chew on while she finalized the track. And what better to rhyme over than the bass heavy house beat bearing the name of her hometown, “Harlem Shake” by producer Baauer.
Baauer’s hit had previously gone viral on YouTube with military, pro sports teams and college co-eds rocking out in mass mobs to the first thirty seconds. (a popular example).
Banks released the track titled “Harlem Shake (Azealia Banks Remix)” at around 11 pm last night as a little VDay gift for her following and coyly tweeted “What Kind Of Harlemite Would I Be If I Didn’t?”. The artist released her version for free download on soundcloud.com . Needless to say, the remix exploded just as soon as it was released. Banks’s energetic verses were so massively received, they caught the attention of the original mix master, Baauer, but not in the good way.
Baauer had Banks’s version taken down from SoundCloud because he felt she was overstepping her bounds by rhyming on the beat without permission. Upon learning this, Banks’s tweeted directly at the producer asking, “@baauer why you c—blockin tho? Lmaoo” to which he answered “@AZEALIABANKS because it’s not your song lol”. It’s at this moment when all jokes were set aside and Azealia’s big guns came out with the reply “@baauer you’re a p—y. You don’t belong in hip hop.” At that point, all rules of Twitter etiquette were thrown out the window (as if they weren’t already).
These fighting words caught the attention of one of Bank’s old enemies, celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, and the quarrel quickly turned into a threesome, and not in the good way.
Hilton took the side of Baauer, tweeting “@AZEALIABANKS How does it feel to be better known for all your trash-talking than your music, Azealia? #TeamBauuer” to which Banks’s harshly replied “@PerezHilton What does my p—y taste like perez?”
The rest of the convo played out like a game of dirty ad-libs with each counterpart referring to each other’s genitals and cowardice personalities until Azealia dropped a bomb, the f-bomb to be eaxct, deeming Hilton an “evil f—-t”. Banks is now a repeat offender in calling Perez the slur.
From there Hilton answered “@AZEALIABANKS There you go again with the F word. Showing your true colors. You are so parched.” Attempting to clarify, Banks explained that she uses the word to mean something other than a derogatory homosexual slur—something more like a male (gay or straight) who acts as catty as a female; an “energy stealer, blood sucker, coward”. She even prompted an open question to her fans to define the word.
After multiple retweets and subtweets, Perez went back to promoting his site’s stories and Azealia tweeted “You give me free speech and then tell me what I can and cannot say???” and “Let’s just all agree to disagree.”
Was this the best resolution to the issue of artist sampling at hand? Probably not. But it was undoubtedly much more publicity for all parties involved. And Azealia’s “Harlem Shake” remix is still available here.

A few years ago Grammys night took a treacherous turn for one couple in particular: Chris Brown and Rihanna. While some time has passed since that night, the public is still trying to wrap their heads around the fact that Rihanna and Chris are an item again. They were captured canoodling at the Grammy awards last night, looking happy with big smiles for the camera.
Rihanna was pretty clear in her interview with Rolling Stone that she didn’t really care what people thought about her public reconciliation with Brown. It’s pretty obvious from the Grammy night pictures that she is not making any apologies for her choices.
But apparently one person in particular isn’t thrilled about Chris and Rihanna snuggling up again. Via Perez Hilton sources say that there is a growing wedge between once best friends Katy Perry and Rihanna as a result of RiRi’s relationship with Chris. According to an insider “Katy was always the one person who could really stand up to Rihanna. When it comes to Chris, Rihanna isn’t willing to listen. Katy is still incredibly angry about what Chris did, and she doesn’t believe he can change.”
Chris Brown Upset About Frank Ocean’s Grammy Win?
Apparently Katy has also given Rihanna advice against dating Chris, but Rihanna, being Rihanna chose to do things her own way. “She has stuck her neck out for Rihanna, and so it really hurt when Rihanna ignored her advice. Katy told Rihanna that she couldn’t stick around and watch someone she loves make such a big mistake, and that she had to walk away. They haven’t spoken for months. Chris is like Rihanna’s addiction and no one can talk any sense into her.”
Despite everyone else’s opinions, it seems like these two are in it for the long haul.
Azealia Banks beefs with celebrity blogger Perez Hilton.
Azealia Banks cannot seem to play nice this week, as the rapper has gotten into another feud on Twitter.
Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton appeared to side with Angel Haze after she and Banks exchanged words earlier in the week.
At some point, Azealia called Hilton, who is a gay male, a “messy faggot,” after which she qualified that a “faggot is not a homosexual male. A faggot is any male who acts like a female.”
Below is a portion of the feud:
@azealiabanks You got something against girls with small breasts???
— Perez Hilton (@PerezHilton) January 4, 2013

— Perez Hilton (@PerezHilton) January 4, 2013
@azealiabanks Sweetie, you’re not ignorant. You know you shouldn’t call me the F word. That AND wishing I die? You hoping I get AIDS next?
— Perez Hilton (@PerezHilton) January 5, 2013
A faggot is not a homosexual male. A faggot is any male who acts like a female. There’s a BIG difference.
— YUNG RAPUNXEL (@AZEALIABANKS) January 5, 2013
If u listen to my music and are not offended by the word nigga…. We’re not gonna go here with this faggot shit… We’re just not. Lol
— YUNG RAPUNXEL (@AZEALIABANKS) January 5, 2013
Unpleasant meddling woman = bitch, unpleasant meddling man = Perez Hilton

My most sincere apologies to anyone who was indirectly offended by my foul language. Not sorry for Perez tho. Lol

Nicki Minaj wants to give her fans the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, and it looks like she’s doing just that judging by Sunday night’s premiere episode of “My Truth” on E! During the first of three special episodes, the Young Money rap queen opened up and invited fans into her world and cleared up some rumors and misconceptions.
“So you believe that I told Rihanna to ‘sit yo ass down,’ ” Nicki questioned celebrity blogger Perez Hilton on a story he posted following the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards. “No, I never told Rihanna to sit her ass down.”
In the episode, we see Nicki preparing for her role as an “American Idol” judge and, of course, with that comes her feud with fellow “Idol” panelist Mariah Carey. On October 2, footage of a tense stand-off between Nicki and the “Hero” singer surfaced online, sparking speculation about whether the two stars could co-exist.
“I think that Mariah has met her match this time and I don’t think she was expecting to meet her match,” she said in an opening teaser scene for the show.
While gossip and controversy often follows an artist of Nicki’s stature, Minaj said she chooses to focus on her fans when things get tough. The E! special shows her in day-long recording sessions, prepping for her tour, making television appearances, wardrobe approvals, doing video shoots and autograph signings with her faithful flock. “That relationship that I have with my fans is sometimes the only thing that gets me out of bed,” she admitted. “I can be having a horrible day and if I see my fans they make me laugh.”
