On last night’s (May 1) episode of “American Idol,” Nicki Minaj offered up her usual compliments, critiques and…Q-tips? That’s right; Minaj wanted fellow judge Mariah Carey to “clean them ears out” after the two divas disagreed over Angie Miller’s performance of “Someone to Watch Over Me.”
Minaj told Miller, one of the final four girls vying for a spot in the finals, that her “body transforms” when she hits the high notes. She recommended that the contestant make smoother transitions. “Every time you do your higher notes you get into instantly,” she said to Miller. “It’s like your face, it’s like your body transforms. So just get to the beginning to there—just stay in it.”
Mariah seemed to disagree with this comment. “We can’t expect everything to be at the top of your register,” she said. “There has to be a build. So I must disagree with certain members of the panel that every moment’s got to be at the top…”
When Carey said “every moment,” Nicki’s brows furrowed as she looked misunderstood. “That’s not what I said…you need to clean your ears out,” she said. But Mariah continued with the rest of her critique, ignoring Nicki and prompting the highlight of the dispute. Nicki pulled a Q-tip out of her cosmetic bag (which was conveniently on hand) and tried handing it to singer. “Let me give you a Q-tip so you can clean them ears,” she said.
Then, as if addressing children, Ryan Seacrest walked over to the panel and warned, “Somebody’s gonna go to the corner. We got to get through this show okay, girls.” To end on a lighter tone, Ryan confirmed if they were all still on for dinner that night. Laughing, they said ‘yes.’

Remember when we showed you these Giuseppe Zanotti heels inspired by the cover art of G.O.O.D. Music’s album Cruel Summer? Perhaps you were wondering who might wear these bad boys in daily life, with their all-white, flashy feather plumes. The answer, of course: Kim Kardashian, and we’re sure that her baby daddy Kanye West hooked her up. (He probably had a few spare pairs lying around, right?)
Clad in her exclusive shoes and a skintight dress, the very pregnant Kim stepped out with West in NYC on Monday (April 22), Us Weekly reported. Perez Hilton even got a photo of the two together, with Yeezy trailing behind his newly divorced beau as they shopped in Soho.
So now that she’s a free woman, would the reality star re-marry? In a recent interview with Ryan Seacrest, Kim said that she “would get married again” when Ryan brought up getting hitched to ‘Ye. “I found out what I really wanted,” she added.
We have to say that while there’s no ring on her finger (yet), the Cruel Summer shoes do show her dedication to the father-to-be, at least in a fashion sense. And in the world of ladies who are committed to their rapper beaus, donning a pair of heels is definitely less drastic than, say, getting a large portrait of your man tattooed on your arm (we’re looking at you, Amber Rose).

The Kardashian family has had plenty of screen time with six years of being in front of reality TV cameras. The “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” franchise has given a lot of insight into their family life but they really got up close and personal during a recent interview with Ryan Seacrest where Kim opened up about the difficulties in her pregnancy as well as her future plans with Kanye.
With Kim’s due date coming up soon in July, Ryan asked Kim exactly what she’s feeling as an expectant mother. “It’s just really painful everywhere,” the 32-year-old said. “I’m in pain physically.” “I get really paranoid [and] I start Googling things, the things that come up are really scary. It just freaks me out all the time,” she added.
Kim admitted that she had a different view of what things were going to be like carrying Kanye’s baby. “I was waiting for this amazing experience where I can just do whatever I want, eat whatever I want, feel great, and it hasn’t been that way,” she said.
Although her pregnancy has been more difficult than expected, the mother-to-be lit up as soon as Ryan mentioned future plans of marrying Kanye. “I do think I would get married again,” Kim said. “I found out what I really wanted.” Even with Kanye being in Paris working on his next album, he has been very attentive to his pregnant beau- flying on private jets to make her doctor appointments according to sources via TMZ.
As for Kanye’s thoughts on the show- Kim revealed that he’s a fan of the show. “He loves the show and loves watching…He loves the whole experience.”

Miley Cyrus already proved to millions that she knows how to twerk it, so a guest spot on Snoop Lion’s new single, “Ashtrays and Heartbreaks,” from his upcoming reggae album, Reincarnated, shouldn’t be a surprise.
“I did a song with Snoop and it’s coming out very, very soon…I can finally say I’m going to have a song with Snoop coming very soon,” Cyrus told Ryan Seacrest about recording with Snoop. “It’s recorded, done. I’m so excited! He was in Europe when he was recording but he’s here this weekend so I’m pretty excited I’m going to take a bunch of my friends and go hang out.”
The Major Lazer-produced track finds Snoop reminiscing about all the loved ones he’s lost, whether it was due to a break-up or losing a friend or a family member, urging listeners to empathize with his plight with the line, “You never miss what you have until it’s gone.”
Miley, for her part, holds up well, singing on the chorus, “So raise a glass to the memories and set ‘em free and fill up all those ashtrays.”
The dancehall-inspired ode features additional vocals from Angela Hunte and percussion by The Police’s Stewart Copeland. The West Coast legend’s new LP, which features the poignant non-violence song “No Guns Allowed,” and guest spots from Drake, Chris Brown, T.I. and Busta Rhymes, is available for pre-order now on iTunes and hits retailers on April 23.

Ever since his 2009 assault against Rihanna, Chris Brown has been trying to scrub his image. Although he’s had some incidents along the way Breezy said in a recent interview that he is a changed man from four years ago.
Brown stopped by “On Air With Ryan Seacrest” Tuesday (March 26) to talk about his transformation over the past four years. “Being at that young age, I can tell you I was arrogant and definitely hotheaded. Everybody has a temper, but for me, it was not knowing how to control it when I thought I had the world in my hands,” he told Ryan Seacrest about the 2009 assault.
He acknowledged that since the incident he really has made an effort and he said that he “tried my best to be the best man I could be over the years and just show her how remorseful and sorry I was for the incident. Being that she has [forgiven me] and she##Q##s a wonderful person, I##Q##m eternally grateful and thankful. It##Q##s still like we##Q##re kids, “he explained. “ I try not to be too grown and be like, ##Q##Let##Q##s have candlelight dinner every night.##Q## I try to make sure everything is fun. It has to be fun and it has to be genuine.”
CB has done a lot of growing up since the incident and has come to the realization that you can lose everything very quickly, and he’s not just talking about fame. “You can lose it all. And I##Q##m not just saying fame or stardom because that##Q##s not what it##Q##s about. I##Q##m talking about dignity, integrity. You know, you lose yourself in a way. So that process of me having to deal with any trials and tribulations I went through at that time, it was a learning step for me… I##Q##m getting better as the days come,” he said.
Chris also opened up about handling his outbursts on Instagram and Twitter following his incident with Frank Ocean, “Both [are a blessing and a curse]…for me now I’m not as hands on as I used to be. I totally deleted my Instagram and I get on Twitter every now and then to touch base with my fans because I love my fans. But sometimes when you’re a young kid and you have impulsive techniques you kind of get like, ‘Arghhh! I can’t stand you’. People love [Twitter wars], they eat it up, so I’d rather not feed them that,” he said.
Breezy is now putting his efforts on his music, focusing on his new album X which is set to drop April 1.

It was only a matter of time before Miley Cyrus really went hip-hop. After being photographed in the studio with Wiz Khalifa and Mike Will Made-It, the former tween star shared with Ryan Seacrest that she##Q##s collaborating with none other than Snoop Lion on her upcoming album.
“I did a song with Snoop and it’s coming out very, very soon…I can finally say I’m going to have a song with Snoop coming very soon,” she said. ““it’s recorded, done. I’m so excited! He was in Europe when he was recording but he’s here this weekend so I’m pretty excited I’m going to take a bunch of my friends and go hang out.
She describes her new album: “I want this record to be different and a bunch of passion projects which the first thing I wouldn’t have calculated like, ‘Oh the first song I want to come out is me and Snoop Dogg.’ I never thought that would be [my first single], I’d think it’d be my own single first but I’ve been able to do these things where I’ve just been in the studio at the right time and these projects have just magically come.”
Miley has long had a thing for rappers. In 2011, she tweeted Gucci Mane. She gave 2 Chainz props during her birthday by sharing that she wanted a “big booty ho” in homage of his “Birthday Song” and she recently hung with French Montana at the Grammys, which leaves us wondering: what other rappers does she plan on working with? A collab with French doesn##Q##t seem like a stretch at this point, given that he##Q##s working on his debut Excuse My French, and even 2 Chainz, who##Q##s appeared on unlikely collabs with artists like Fall Out Boy and Kreayshawn wouldn##Q##t surprise us.
This week Miley even released a fun “twerk” video of an awkward dance routine, which has since gone viral and received love from rappers like French.
